Executive Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure the foundation’s goals align with its mission and community needs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
- Act as the primary spokesperson and representative for the foundation in the community and beyond.
- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of arts programs, seasonal classes, exhibits, performances, and community projects.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work with staff and artists to maintain high-quality artistic and educational offerings.
- Prepare and oversee the organization’s annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
- Lead grant writing and reporting efforts, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with funders, donors, and sponsors to secure ongoing financial support.
- Supervise and support staff, contractors, and volunteers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff as needed.
- Ensure the organization’s operations comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Build and nurture relationships with community members, local organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Promote the foundation’s programs and events through public outreach, marketing, and communications.
- Foster an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all participants and community members.
- Act as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, providing timely updates, reports, and recommendations.
- Support the Board in its governance responsibilities, including strategic planning, policy development, and fundraising.

Senior Camp Coordinator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise Arts and Crafts Instructors to ensure the successful delivery of all arts camp programming.
- Act as the main point of contact for instructors, participants, and parents during camp sessions.
- Coordinate daily schedules, ensuring activities start and end on time and resources are allocated appropriately.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during camp operations promptly and effectively.
- Assist in training instructors on lesson planning, budgeting, and program facilitation.
- Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support to staff throughout the camp season.
- Monitor and evaluate instructors’ performance, offering constructive feedback to help them succeed.
- Manage program logistics, including supply orders, camp registrations, and daily attendance tracking.
- Maintain accurate records of participant information, feedback, and program outcomes.
- Work with the Executive Director to ensure all activities comply with safety and organizational policies.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates, address questions, and gather feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp culture that ensures all participants feel welcome and engaged.
- Act as a role model and representative of the St. Paul & District Arts Foundation.
